Your subscription gives you coverage across the entire State of Florida for all permit types including residential (single family, townhome, condo, multi-family, apartment, and build-to-rent), commercial office. commercial retail, industrial, government, and agricultural. You also have access to 2-years of statewide CDD's (community development district data) plus all existing school locations including their letter grades to assist in your site selection.
Every 2 weeks our Industry Experts do a manual review of all new permits to determine their category, acreage, dwelling units, buildable square footage, and purpose. As each permit is reviewed, the reviewer puts their personal notes about each project into the system for your internal projects and purposes. These notes are available for you to review simply by clicking on any map location and viewing the pop-up window. These notes are also available for download to Excel or CSV.
Projects located on the map contain the Agent of record along with their email address and phone number. This is a great resource to locate builders, developers, engineers, etc. for a specific project. Using the export function, you can export contacts into your personal rolodex and build up thousands of contacts across the State of Florida.
When you select a project on the map, a hyperlink will appear "Link to Docs" for you to select. Simply clicking this link will take you directly to the permitting agencies website where you will have full access to the underlying application, permitted plans, etc. for each project. This is a great resource as we have integrated all the agencies across Florida so you can go directly to any location such as North Florida, Southwest Florida, etc.
Projects located on the map can be exported to Excel or CSV. Each project contains the complete data set for each project including our project notes. You also get County, Zip Code, Permit Type, Permit Subtype, Permit Subtype 2, Project Name, Agent Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Permit Issue Date, Acreage, FDOT Average Daily Traffic Counts, Buildable Square Footage, Latitude, Longitude, and a hyperlink to all permitted plans (per project).
Land permit locations are provided on an interactive map that allows you to search for specific locations, radius search (custom ranges), and polygon search to find specific areas of interest. Latitude and Longitude coordinates for each land permit is also available in the Excel or CSV export function available with the map. This map can be found using the "ANALYST" tab located on the left navigation bar of all pages within the software.
Each filter has intuitive filtering that allows you to refine your search from a macro-level down to a micro-level. You can even filter down to a single applicant name (e.g. Lennar) or a single project name (e.g. Chick-Fil-A). The map and corresponding data tables automatically update based on your filtering. For real world examples, see the "Samples" page for use cases for each report type (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government).
While using the Zip Code vs. County data comparison report, you can quickly and easily see any group of projects on a map. Select either the number of permits for a specific Subtype or the Subtype name and you will be directed to a map of the County and each project location will be show. Hover over individual locations to see full details including our project notes and access all the underlying permit documents by selecting the "Link to Docs" hyperlink for each project.
Each County is summarized by permit type and includes the total number of permits, gross acres, average acres, gross dwelling units, average dwelling units, gross buildable square footage, and average buildable square footage. Zip Codes are ranked by future growth or future income and selectable to create a side-by-side comparison between a County and its Zip Codes.
Select a County and a Zip Code from a drop-down list to instantly create a side-by-side comparison report of how the Zip Code is performing in relation to the County. The comparison includes demographic data related to the number of permits, projected income, and projected growth rates. There is also a summary table based on permit subtypes that allow you to see how many types of each permit are currently in both the Count and the Zip Code.
